Machine Builder
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in DeSoto, KS within the packaging industry.
Machine Builder Job Summary:
· $21/hr - $26/hr
· Days, 6 am - 4:30 pm, M - Th
· Perform a combination of electrical and mechanical tasks to construct high quality custom equipment for industrial machines
· Perform basic electrical wiring using wiring diagrams, schematics, and wire lists. Install and wire electrical cabinets into new machine builds. Connect machine to in-coming power. Conduct functional tests to verify proper machine/panel operation
· Non-repetitive mechanical assembly with occasional repetitive assembly work
· Run and test equipment for proper function.
· Perform final assembly inspection to ensure production specifications and standards are met.
· Assist in Machine Shop and facilities maintenance or troubleshooting as required.
Machine Builder Qualifications:
· Capable of reading, interpreting and following schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints or specifications to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
· Capable of safely using a variety of hand or power tools including Digital Multimeter and soldering iron.
· Technical certification preferred
· Minimum two years hands-on experience
